Easter Holidays in Abruzzo, through the land of the Marsican brown bear, gently observing nature awakening: berries start sprouting from bushes, woods turn to their bright colours and bears emerge from the warmth of hibernation, slowly slowly…
From 9th to 13rd April 2020, a travel itinerary conceived for nature lovers who do not mind to share a good dinner smiling in front of some travel hitch.
A unique opportunity to discover the beauty of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, in collaboration with two AIGAE certified guides: Marta Trobitz and Fabrizio Cordischi. Thanks to their competence and passion Marta and Fabrizio will guide travellers during all program’s excursions and meetings.
Thanks to local guides travellers will discover the areas inhabited by bears and wolves, they will get to know deer and gryphons’ habits having the chance to visits some of the wonderful little villages of the region, such as Ovindoli and Sperone.
Special consideration will be given to Salviamo l’Orso Onlus and Rewilding Apennines, two non for profit realities engaged on the field in defence of the territory and of all the wild species that inhabit it. All the activities carried out by these associations promote good practices for a peaceful coexistence between man and nature.
Participation fee: 270 euros – the fee includes training and pre-departure coaching; two guides for all the excursions and visits (AIGAE Abruzzo Guides); the use of the guesthouse; membership fee LOTO cultural association. Accommodation in shared rooms equipped with sheets and blankets. Use of petty cash for all meals.
For the arrival at the project, LOTO will optimize the transfer for all participants creating a network of car sharing (when possible) or encouraging the use of public transport.
